A HAPPY
HEALTHY TEAM
The friendliness and respect our colleagues show one another make our workplace pleasant and positive. We strive to be a place where everyone can flourish and thrive. We all work hard to understand and promote safety, always looking out for one another.
AN OVERARCHING PROGRAM
- We want happy employees. We survey them every year to understand their perspectives and needs. This helps us improve our workplaces, working conditions and their happiness.
- We use a global reporting tool to learn from health and safety incidents and observations across all our sites.Â
- Our safety prevention barometer keeps everyone informed of our safety efforts. It encourages not only awareness, but pride in safety.
- This leads to safety and risk assessments becoming second nature. We incorporate changes in updates to our procedures.
- On top of this, we are part of the CROWN safety-culture programme. It builds on existing safety foundations to create a positive, open-minded and proactive attitude to safety.
WORKFORCE NUTRITION ALLIANCE
The Workforce Nutrition Alliance, an organisation that supports employers through food education and the promotion of healthy eating, awarded us a Gold classification in its latest evaluation. While this is something to be proud of in our corporate reports, the real gold lies in our people: employees who are well nourished and aware of the importance of nutritional health.
ComPLIANT WITH ISO 45001
- We conduct annual medical checks for health and well-being to keep employees aware, informed and thinking about health.Â
- Our health, safety and well-being approach has been externally approved as meeting international standard ISO 45001.
OUR ACTIONS FOR BETTER HEALTH & WELLBEING
Our Health and Well-being programme encourages employees to follow a healthy lifestyle. Training sessions and workshops encourage awareness and healthy habits by focusing on seven areas:Â
-
- Food and nutrition
- Sleep
- Mental well-being
- Environment
- Resilience
- Movement and exercise
- Connection.
-
- We are part of the CROWN safety-culture programme. It builds on existing safety foundations to create a positive, open-minded and proactive attitude to safety.
- This encourages everyone to constantly assess safety and risk and understand the benefit of updating procedures.
- We have a support programme to assist employees and their families with daily concerns and worries.
- The more involved and interested our employees are in their work, the happier they will be, and the better they will perform. We actively encourage training courses and workshops to enhance and develop their skills and knowledge.Â
- We use a discussion of their talents and ambitions to set personal development plans for the coming year. This training and education is also great for knowledge transfer – as well as team spirit – and business continuity.
