ONZE EMISSIES ONDERVERDELEN IN SCOPES<\/span><\/h2>\n

Onze eigen emissies zijn de zogenaamde Scope 1-emissies. Maar we beperken ook de emissies die voortvloeien uit de productie van warmte en de energie die we aankopen en verbruiken \u2013 de Scope 2-emissies. En we doen hetzelfde voor de Scope 3-emissies: alle andere indirecte emissies die verband houden met onze producten en diensten. Denk bijvoorbeeld aan de emissies die onze externe leveranciers van goederen en diensten produceren, of de emissies die voortvloeien uit het gebruik van onze producten en diensten. Hoe minder emissies, hoe beter.<\/span><\/p>\n

VERMINDERING met wetenschappelijk gebaseerde targets<\/span><\/h2>\n

Onze cijfers zijn extern geverifieerd op basis van het Green House Gas Protocol. We kunnen rekenen op de steun van Ajinomoto voor onze energieneutraliteitsdoelstellingen.<\/span><\/p>\n

We werken hard om tegen 2050 koolstofneutraal te zijn. Je merkt misschien de percentages op die onze voortgang aantonen. Die zijn gemeten ten opzichte van onze emissies in 2019.<\/span><\/p>\n

We nemen onze verantwoordelijkheid om de Scope 3-emissies naar beneden te halen. Voor CDMO-gerelateerde activiteiten hangt deze vermindering echter af van de klantbereidheid.

De kracht van hernieuwbare energie <\/span><\/h2>\n

Onze energieproductie toont misschien nog het best aan hoe we onze emissies beperken. Operationele uitmuntendheid komt bij ons op de eerste plaats, waarbij we ons energieverbruik maximaal proberen te beperken. We zijn overgestapt op hernieuwbare energie.<\/p>\n

Elke vestiging in Belgi\u00eb en Spanje draait voortaan 100% op hernieuwbare energie. We investeerden in groene energie van lokale oorsprong. Zo installeerden we zonnepanelen in Wetteren en Balen. En we proberen voortdurend ons energieverbruik verder te beperken. We zijn ervan overtuigd dat zelfs de kleinste stap telt. Dat is ook hoe we het verschil maken.<\/p>\n

Tegen eind 2030 zal elke AOC-site draaien op hernieuwbare energie.\n<\/p>\n

Weet je wat ons trots maakt? Dat onze klanten hier heel actief bij betrokken zijn. We loodsen onze klanten langs het meest ecologische traject, van hun initi\u00eble aanvraag tot de afronding van het productieproces.<\/p>\n

Zo ontwikkelden we een Eco Passport om onze klanten een duidelijk beeld te geven van de emissies voor elk proces en eindproduct, van het verzamelen van de grondstoffen tot het verlaten van de fabriek. Onze berekeningsmethodologie is onafhankelijk geverifieerd. Ze is volledig in overeenstemming met de ISO-norm 14067 voor het kwantificeren en rapporteren van de koolstofvoetafdruk van producten.\n<\/p>\n
